About Micah J. Gaudio
Hi, I'm Micah Gaudio.
In 2007, at just 33 years old, I sold one of my publications and became a millionaire, fulfilling a dream I had since childhood.
Three years later, I was bankrupt.
A few years after that, divorced.
The decade that followed was what I now call my Steve Jobs hiatus, a season where I thought I was "upgrading" my faith from my Christian upbringing to New Age manifestation and self-reliance. Instead, I found myself chasing the world's version of fulfillment: money, pleasure, and excess. I was drowning in knowledge, ambition, and ego, yet starving spiritually.
It's as if God Himself looked down and said, "Are you full now? When will you follow Me with all your heart?"
Despite my education at Liberty University, despite knowing Scripture from the age of six, I had turned my relationship with God into an intellectual exercise instead of a surrendered walk. Life was comfortable, even abundant but not anchored.
Then, on September 30, 2024, everything changed.
My beloved 19-year-old son, a kind, faith-filled young man, was brutally murdered in his own driveway by a demonic stranger (holding his own 2-year-old daughter) so clearly consumed by evil that no words can describe it. My son died in his mother's arms moments later.
No amount of manifestation, wealth, or self-help could bring him back. I tried. I pleaded. I broke.
What got me through was not my own strength, but the love and mercy of God.
Now, I wake up every day and simply do what He tells me to do. My calling hasn't changed. I'm still a marketer, an entrepreneur, and a problem solver. But now, everything I do flows through one mission: to share Christ, help others overcome the pain, confusion, and chaos of life by finding hope in God's eternal purpose.
I've failed 99 times for every one success I've had but those failures are where the real lessons live. My prayer is that you can learn from my mistakes, grow from my story, and find light in your own darkness.
All proceeds from My Only Son Publishing go to the Live Like Cash Gaudio Foundation, which provides scholarships and tuition assistance to kids who embody the same faith, empathy, and heart my son lived with every day.
God bless,
Micah
